  2. Goal • To create familiarity with graduate school • Admissions requirements and procedures • Courses of study • Placement statistics

Overall Requirements • 1 page analysis of why you want to go to grad school • Identify 3 schools—print 2 summary pages from one school • Describe admission procedures and standards for each school • Write 1 page email recommendation to each from perspective of a faculty member • List date for admissions test—how you will prepare • Design a specific course of study for 1 school • Investigate placement success • Discuss financial aid

Deliverables • 1 page analysis of reasons • Names of 3 schools with admission procedures for each and prints outs for one of them • 1 page hypothetical email recommendation • Info on plans for admissions test • Course of study for 1 school • Info on placement success of school • Info on financial aid
