  9. Creating Data Entry Batches • You need to set up a Batch before Data Entry • Batches should reflect your program • Use them to track work by each office or organizer • Small time window; Weeks or Days not Months

  10. Entering Data Pick a Batch and then go into Data Entry for that Batch

Batch Status • Entering – New Registrations are being added to this batch and Data Entry is in progress • Completed – All forms have been entered, proof reading or Quality Assurance is in progress • Committed – Submit the list for processing and matching • Processed – The Registrants have been added to or updated in the Voter File

  13. Search for New Registrants inVoter Registration Tool • Look at the registrations you have already entered • Export data from your Batch

  14. Search for New Registrants inVoter File You can also search for Voter Registration Applicants when Building a List in the myVoter section of the VAN • Registration Status is on the Left, near the Top • Note that the Background Color is Gray for the Voter File
