  2. The purpose of this project is to purchase an Electronic Poll Book System from a vendor for Election Day for the years 2009 thru December 31, 2010 for the counties of Lea, Taos and Valencia, New Mexico. E-Poll Book Introduction

  3. Budget The $705,000 is available thru HAVA, Title II, Section 251 for FY 08-09, as stipulated under Part 1 of sub-title D of Title II to implement an Electronic Poll Book System Pilot Project in the counties of Lea, Taos and Valencia for testing, utilization and enhancing the voter Election Day process. DFA and SOS finance will perform a bar adjustment to move funds into SOS budget. Approximate date to move funds will be performed on February 26, 2010. January 15, 2010 - the federal monies were transferred in the amount of $705,000

  4. Updates The E-poll book project implementation date has been changed to November 2, 2010 for the General Election.

  5. Submission of Proposals April 23, 2010 • Proposal Evaluation June 21, 2010 • Selection of Finalists June 25, 2010 • Finalist Oral Presentation June 30, 2010 • Best and Final Offer July 2, 2010 • Contract Award July 22, 2010 Proposed Timeline

  6. A new proposed timeline for sequence of events was reviewed and approved by the evaluation committee and confirmed by the clerks from Taos, Valencia and Lea Counties. Accomplishments
