  19. District Results • 37 of 70 districts showed gains in the number of students scoring Basic and above between 2009 and 2010. • Largest gains in the Recovery School District (6 points), Richland (5 points), DeSoto (4 points) and Iberville (4 points).

  20. Recovery School District – New Orleans • Overview • Students showed significant gains in ELA in both 8th grade LEAP and GEE results • The percentage of students in 4th and 8th grades meeting the promotional standard increased significantly between 2009 and 2010
