  3. Needs Analysis The needs assessment involves: • Understanding and taking ownership of the 2005/2006 immersion team’s formal needs assessment. • Revising, updating, and extending the goals to match new ideas and constraints.

Task Analysis This Year • Learning Outcomes • JTA Outcomes • Ex: Worksheet JTAs In the worksheet JTAs, section foremen will accurately add, delete, or edit steps to customize the JTA to mine operations. • Scenario Outcomes • Ex:Ventilation Scenario Analyze ventilation maps and schematics to determine airflowDiagnose ventilation problems and errors given a set of air quantity and quality measurements

Formative Evaluation • Surveying the audience • Online survey miners can complete after undergoing some or parts of training • Surveying Hoop Magic team’s use of the project pre-release as a test for navigability and usability. • Design document and Training System sent to MSHA officials at end of Semester (12/15)

  14. Recommendations • Client Presentation Dec. 8 • Distribute Evaluation Tools • Use client feedback to improve current modules and shape development of future modules.
