  5. STEP ONE RESPOND TO GOD’S CALL

  6. Respond to God’s call A. How did Peter respond to Jesus’ call? Matthew 4:18-20 • The call of Jesus required total commitment • We need to follow Jesus no matter the personal cost

  7. Respond to God’s call B. How did Jesus prepare Peter for his role as one of the great missionaries of the early church? • He listened, and watched Jesus served people • He witnessed the life and ministry of Jesus

  8. STEP TWO LEARN MORE FROM JESUS

  9. “Feed my sheep” By totally surrendering to Jesus, Peter became a powerful missionary for the Lord Learn from Jesus A. In spite of Peter’s many mistakes in the past, how did Jesus use him as a powerful witness? John 21:14-17
