  2. Objectives • Describe an Entity type • Understand general navigation and data entry procedures • Understand the Guided process for registering Entities • Demonstrate the process for entering • Locations • Contacts • Explain the Search process for Entities and Locations and Contacts

  3. Entity Type Description • Entity is one of the largest repositories of information in your system • Entities should be viewed as a Physical Place • Types can be • Service Providers • Rapid Response • LWA • Each Entity should have a 9 digit FEIN number or SSN • FEIN – Federal Employer Identification Number

  4. General Information • An Asterisk * represents the fact that data must be added to the field on which the Asterisk is placed • An error will result if this is violated • Press the Go Back key to correct • Data entry can be completed without the use of a mouse • Using the Tab key and the Shift Tab keys will allow movement forward and backward • Drop Down List boxes can be populated by tabbing to the field and entering the first letter of the desired choice • Repeated depressions of that character will allow you to scroll through the choices • This oval will represent what key should be pressed for movement to the next screen using the Guided Process

  15. Add Second Location (2 of 5) Enter the Name of the Entity to which the Location will be associated

  16. Add Second Location (3 of 5) Yields 1 Row

  17. Add Second Location (4 of 5) Add Second Location in Missouri

  18. Add Second Location (5 of 5) Missouri Location added successfully

  19. Using Existing Contact (1 of 4) In order to use an existing Contact we must first know the Entity to which the Contact is associated

  20. Using Existing Contact (2 of 4) We are going to use this contact for the Missouri Location Notice that Thomas Smithgall is associated to an Illinois location

  21. Using Existing Contact (3 of 4) Contact can be Viewed allowing us to alter information

  22. Using Existing Contact (4 of 4) Thomas Smithgall will not be the primary contact for Kansas City location

  23. Adding a Second Contact (1 of 4) Contact has been successfully related to the Missouri Location Adding a Second contact for the Missouri Location

  24. Adding a Second Contact (2 of 4) Adding a Second contact for the Missouri Location

  25. Adding a Second Contact (3 of 4) Include all required information

  26. Adding a Second Contact (4 of 4) The Missouri Location now has two Contacts Pressing Return will finish this process
