  3. ExecutiveSummary

  4. ExecutiveSummary My business “Nat’s Daycare Center” is a partnership with Amanda Estevez. We shall have the grand opening on August 20, 2015 and it will be located on 11820 Pines Blvd: Pembroke Pines, FL 33025. Our mission is to provide children with a safe developmentally appropriate environment. But, before anything can be done including obtaining required documentation and licenses, toys and equipment, and the location. Our target market include parents who work, have nobody to take care of their children and don’t only need day care service but can afford it.

  5. CompanyDescription

  6. CompanyDescription Legal Form of Business: My business, Nat’s Daycare Center, is a partnership between Natalie Estevez and Amanda Estevez. We believe that a partnership is the best way to run our company because there is both shared responsibility and shared expenses.

  7. CompanyDescription Effective Date of Business: Our business will have its grand opening on August 20, 2015 because around this time, school starts so relatives and family friends who attend school will no longer be able to take care of children who are not old enough to attend school and whose parents have a job. It also gives us two years to prepare our business.

  8. CompanyDescription Company Mission Statement: Here at Nat’s Daycare Center we aim to provide a safe, developmentally appropriate environment for children to develop skills, both academic and physical, to help carry them through the rest of their lives.

  9. CompanyDescription My business will be located on 11820 Pines Blvd: Pembroke Pines, FL 33025 because it is a nice and clean area, it’s fairly close to houses, and it is not over populated.

  10. CompanyDescription Immediate development goals: Before the opening of my business there are many things that must be completed including obtaining required documentation and licenses, toys and equipment, and the location.

  11. IndustryAnalysis

  12. IndustryAnalysis Description of Industry The child care industry is very large with it having been reported in October 2012 that there are 832,782 daycare centers only in the United States. The child care industry is expected to continue to grow due to the fact that it is something that is always going to be needed. People are going to continue to reproduce and when the economy picks up again people will get jobs and need daycare for their children. The first form of child care began in the 19th century in order to take care of children while their mothers worked.

  13. TargetMarket

  14. TargetMarket Profile: The customers we aim to attract are parents who work, have nobody to take care of their children (ages 7 weeks to 6 years old), and don’t only need day care service but can afford it.

  15. Target Market Needs: Our target market has needs in order for parents to choose our daycare center. These needs include: • Safe atmosphere • Nutritious meals • Fair prices • Good location • Friendly and responsible staff and administration

  16. Competition

  17. Competition

  18. Competition Future Competitors: • Investors looking to invest in a new business and want to help open a daycare center. • Corporations and businesses with extra space whose employees have children who require child care.

  19. Operations

  20. Operations In order to run a childcare center, we must hire employees such as: • Janitors • Teachers • Cafeteria Staff • Secretary

  21. Operations The technology required to successfully run my business includes: • Surveillance system • Alarm system • Computers • Telephone • Televisions • Oven, stove, microwave, refrigerator • Sterilizers • Walkie-Talkies

  22. Management andOrganization

  23. Management andOrganization All our employees are important to keep the business running smoothly and in maintaining a safe environment for the children. They supervise the children and make sure they are in great shape, cook nutritious meals, and keep the environment safe and sanitary for them.

  24. Management andOrganization The first step to finding new employees is to advertise that we are hiring. We will do this by placing ads in the flyer and the local newspaper. In order to apply for a position, you must have obtained required licensing and credentials. After these documents have been submitted we shall schedule interviews for the eligible candidates. Afterwards, we are going to choose the amount of needed employees and hire that many of the previously interviewed candidates who were the most qualified.

  25. Long-TermGoals

  26. Long-TermGoals In the future, we are planning on keeping this a “small business” meaning that we want to increase our local business without becoming a franchise. This being because we want to keep the same “feel” for parents and children as when we first began while still making “tweaks” to better care for our customers. We are also hoping to extend our space a bit more so that kids could have more stations to truly enjoy themselves and have a better experience with our services.

  27. Long-TermGoals In order to do so, we must begin to advertise our business and begin to receive customers in order to get some type of income. This will soon help extend the area chosen. Unfortunately, it’s not going to be located in different areas so not as many people can leave their children. But, we can help parents schedule conferences with us to assure them that we have the safest environment. The deal is “first come first serve.” But of course, they have to reach requirements first.
