  5. Egypt - Know • Think about what you already know about ancient Egypt. Have you seen movies or television shows about it? Maybe you have read magazine articles or books about the pyramids, Cleopatra, or King Tut.

  6. Egypt – Want to know • Think about what you want to learn about ancient Egypt. The pictures on page 142-143 may give you some ideas.

  7. What I learned • At the end of the chapter or unit, think about what you have learned about ancient Egypt. You may have more questions now than those you listed at the beginning of the unit. Compare what you learned to the first two columns.
