  • Bell Work: Food Journal Entries

  • Agenda: Food Journal Entries, Food and Energy Cornell Notes/Pictures due Monday April 7, Food Journal due Monday April 7

  • Journals: Glue on cover, SunWise Notes on pg. 9, Food and Energy Notes on pg. 19 and pg. 21, you will draw pictures for Food and Energy Notes on pgs. 18 and 20.

Menu Group Activity Instructions

  • 1. Create a menu for 5 days using MyPlate Guidelines which includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and 1 Snack for each day.

  • 2. All meals must be different, so none of the days will have the same Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner or Snack.

  • 3. 1 Day must be completely Vegan. This means no animal products.

  • 4. 1 Day must be Vegetarian. This means the only animal products you can use are dairy and eggs.

  • 5. Use handouts for food ideas in each food group.

  • 6. On the Paper Plate illustrate one of your meals following the MY Plate Guidelines 1/4 fruit, ¼ veggies, ¼ protein, ¼ grains.
