  2. Skolas izglītība no 6 gadu vecuma Var būt iedalīta a) Elementary School un High School, b) Elementary school, Middle School un High School a) Ja NAV Middle School Elementary school 1.-6. klase, Junior High School 7.-9. klase, Senior High school 10.-12. klase

  3. Skolas izglītība (II) b) ja IR Middle School Elementary school 1.-4. vai 1.- 5. klase Middle School 5.-8. klase, vai 6.-8.klase Senior High school 9.-12. klase 10. klasē ir jāizvēlas programma - akadēmiskā, - aroda vai - vispārīgā (ietver abas iepriekšējās).

  4. Skolas beigšana Vidusskolas noslēgumā iegūst High School Graduation Diploma (HSGD): jāiegūst 16 kredītpunktus ar VIDĒJO atzīmi D vai augstāku Atzīmes ir no A (maksimālā) līdz F (nepietiekama), D ir pēdējā sekmīgā

  5. Uzņemšana augstskolā Vidusskolas atestāts nav pietiekams. Scholastic Achievement Test (SAT I), American College Test (ACT), daļai augstskolu ir arī 1-3 testi speciālajos priekšmetos (SAT II). Pieaugušie, kas nav ieguvuši HSGD, var kārtot GeneralEducationalDevelopment (GED) testus

  6. Augstākā izglītība - undergraduate Universitātes un koledžas piešķir Bachelor degree Bachelor degree iegūst pēc 4 akadēmisko studiju gadiem: • 1. gads- freshman, • 2. gads- sophomore, • 3. gads- junior, • 4. gads- senior. Programmai ir 3 daļas: pamatkursi (vispārīga izglītība dažādās jomās), galvenā studiju joma (major field) un izvēles kursi. Honours degrees – atšķirībā no britiem nozīmē izcilību. cum laude, magna cum laude, summa cum laude

  7. Graduate līmenis Lai iestātos, var būt nepieciešams kārtot • Graduate Record Examinations (GRE), • Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT), • Law School Admission Test (LSAT) vaiMedical College Admission Test (MCAT). Grādi • Master'sdegree tiek piešķirts pēc 1-2 studiju gadiem pēc bakalaura grāda iegūšanas. Maģistra darbs (Master’s thesis) atkarībā no specializācijas var nebūt obligātas.

  8. Profesionālie grādi Medicīnā, zobārstniecībā jurisprudencē, pedagoģijā, u.c. studijas specialitātē parasti tiek uzsāktas pēc bakalaura grāda iegūšanas.
