  1. IFW-CPIPress Evaluation Meeting31 August 2010

  2. 38,500 visitors came for IFW and CPI for four days.

  3. IFW, hosted 21 fashion shows with the attendance of 20 designers and 6 brands.

  4. 55 local and international brands and 28 designers attended Collection Premiere Istanbul.

  5. A total of 4 million Euros was spent for IFW, CPI and Koza Young Fashion Designers Competition.

  6. 3 million TL of the budget was provided by Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture Agency, and the remainder of it was provided by attending companies and sponsors.

  7. A total of 500,000 TL was paid to celebrities like famous tennis player Anna Kournikova and top model Alessandra Ambrosio.

  8. 38,500 visitors, 5,000 of whom were foreign, made more than 11 million dollars contribution to the city’s economy.

  9. Foreign press members from countries like USA, Italy, Germany, Russia, Austria, Spain, the Netherlands, Jordan, Japan, Peru and Ukraine covered the IFW and CPI.

  10. The transportation and accomodation expenses for the 150 foreign press members covering the organizition for four days was a total of 400,000 Euros.

  11. Buyers from 17 countries including Austria, Australia, Britain, Egypt, Canada, Sweden, Tunisia, Japan, Peru and Russia visited IFW and CPI.

  12. A team of 20 people for security, 40 people for transportation, 15 people for cleaning services, and a team of 45 people for designing the stands were hired for CPI.

  13. A special team of 20 people took care of the event coordination for IFW. 32 hosts and hostesses helped control the entries and exits. 40 cleaning staff were employed. A team consisting of 62 private security staff worked for 24 hours straight.

  14. A team of 260 people took care of sound and lighting and technical details for 24 hours straight. A total of 90 workers worked in preparing the area for a total of 7,200 minutes.The fashion show area was cooled down with 20 air conditioners.
