Offender Management:Opportunities for the voluntary sector The Ministry of Justice has published the Green Paper Breaking The Cycle: Effective Punishment, Rehabilitation and Sentencing of Offenders which sets out the government’s vision for reforming the Justice System . Association of Greater Manchester Authorities (AGMA) is developing new approaches to work with offenders through the work of the ten local authorities in partnership with the probation service and the local voluntary sector. GMCVO has been linked into this work and is inviting organisations to a meeting to discuss the wide range of proposals, our involvement in this area of work and the opportunities for local voluntary sector organisations to get involved.
