  15. Impact and indicators of success • Source has the widest outreach and frequency of all IRC publications. Examples of impact: • SW items regularly feature in other news services, including European Water Management News , World Water Council news, Right to Water, FAN E-Bulletin, PPP Newsletter and EMWIS Flash • A quote in SW in 2003 drew the attention of the South African Director-General and Minister for water • Articles from SW helped NGOs get funding

Source latest developments Rethinking theproduction process is underway • Efficient new collection using new Web tools (tagging, RSS, pageminder, weblogs) • Flexible production process in eZ publish: • Easily add newsletter option to any website in portal • Reuters-like stream of news items • Newsfeeds (RSS) based on selected themes/regions (tags) • Subscribers can select from different formats: • plain text (small size) • HTML (better formatted, clearer separation ofsections, links from ToC to item, etc) • Visitor participation (feedback, contributions)
