  2. Spirit Week • CLASS BANNER • Tuesday after school • Room: A303 • POWDER PUFF GAME • Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013 • Cost: $10 (includes t-shirt) • RALLY TOWELS • During lunch and Fridays • Need Sales people!!!

  3. hOMECOMING The Homecoming Court shall be chosen from each grade level class. Students may nominate themselves or may be nominated by a classmate. All students nominated must meet eligibility requirements and complete the appropriate application. Applications will be reviewed by individual class sponsors for completion. Students will be given a list of all nominees and vote to determine the Homecoming Court. The top 4 students will represent their class on the homecoming court. The Homecoming Court will be expected to participate in the homecoming parade that takes place before the Homecoming football game. The Homecoming King and Queen for each grade level will be announced at half time of the football game.

  4. hOMECOMING • Eligibility Requirements • Nominees must run for their appropriate grade level as determined by credit hours. • Nominees must be eligible according to Academy Park Attendance Policy. • Conduct Requirements • Nominees must have no out-of-school suspension (OSS) violations during the • previous (2) marking periods. (This would include Marking Period 4 from the previous year and marking period 1 from the current school year.)

  5. hOMECOMING • Academic Requirements • Nominees must have a minimum 2.0 GPA, unweighted.

Homecoming • Responsibilities • The Homecoming King’s and Queen’s will be expected to represent Academy Park High School in various school and community functions such as Read Across America, winter festival, athletic activities and other functions as assigned by the individual class sponsors. The Homecoming King’s and Queens are responsible for attending 1 event per month of the school year and upholding the above listed attendance, academic and conduct eligibility requirements, any failure to meet these requirements will cause the Homecoming King or Queen to lose their title and for the runner up to be crowned and assume responsibilities.

  7. Homecoming • ***The Academy Park School Administration have final approval of the HomecomingCourt and have the right to remove any candidate, King or Queen who does not exemplify thehighest standards of the school.*** • See Mrs. Vosheski in A303 to sign-up.

  8. Fundraising • October- Rally Towels • January- Poinsettia Sales • February- Sweet Heart Dance • Spring- Claire’s Gourmet • May- SENIOR SHIRTS

  9. PROM • When: May 2, 2013 • Time: 7-11pm • Where: Waterfall Ballroom • Claymont, DE • Approx. Cost: $65-$70 per ticket
