Los nombres (nouns) • All nouns in Spanish have a gender • That means they are either masculine or feminine • Most nouns that end with “o” are masculine • Most nouns that end with “a” are feminine • In addition to gender, all Spanish nouns are either singular or plural • To make a noun plural in Spanish, you add “s” if the noun ends with a vowel and “es” if the noun ends with a consonant
