And kids can sniff it out like that…” “There was this teacher, and she like taught us how to research like 5 million times in one year and then I had her the next year and she tried to teach it again. I know it already!” “I get the impression from a lot of students that they’re not used to having to think – they just want to cut and paste. But I think the problem is more about kids not having confidence in their own ideas – they just say what they think you want to hear. They’re afraid of getting the answer wrong.” “I think students have a tendency to assume, depending on their age, that because it’s published somewhere, even on the net, then it must be factual.”
