  3. This should result in there being six groups of about four people in each group!Group 1Group 2Group 3Group 4Group 5Group 6

  4. The Assignment Each group will meet together for two hours. During this time, the group should do the following:

  5. Take a copy of the Standards of Practice (MMIA)

  6. Choose the characters for your group “skit” or role play

  7. Using the Standards of Practice as a guide, construct a skit or role play in which at least 6 of the Standards of Practice are violated (not followed)

  8. You must have chosen at least one of the Standards of Practice from each of the three categories (A,B, and C)

  9. This role play or skit that the group will perform should last about 12 minutes. Time it please.

  10. Think of scenarios that involve complex, humorous, or emotional situations.

  11. Be creative!

  12. Your group should demonstrate and be ready to discuss all of the “errors” that take place and how to correct them according to the Standards of Practice.

  13. Each person should have a speaking role in this project. For groups larger than four, consider having a narrator who discusses what is happening.

  14. Be sure everyone in the group is comfortable with their role, and is learning their lines!

  15. Rehearse well. Find and create new things to add to the skit as you practice it…try out new ideas which will add to the skit’s value

  16. Get the emails and/or phone numbers of your group’s members.

  17. The role plays/skits will be presented next Saturday after lunch.

  18. Please turn into your instructor an outline of your skit and the 6 or more Standards of Practice that you plan to demonstrate violated in your presentation
