  2. Login to Learning Station • www.duvalschools.org/reseval/dat

  3. Click on Tests in the black navigation bar at the top. • Click on New AKO test.

  4. Give the test a unique Title. • Select a Subject from the drop down menu. • Select a Grade from the drop down menu. • Choose a Bank from the drop down menu. • Choose a Proficiency Profile you’ve created or use the default Proficiency Profile. (If you would like to create your own Proficiency Profile click HERE for the tutorial.)

  5. Add questions to the test. You must add them in the order you want to see them. You cannot move them around after adding them to the test. • For example: if you want a constructed response question to be the 5th question on a test with multiple choice questions, type in 4 and select Multiple-Choice from the drop down, then click Add Questions. • Then type in 1 and select Constructed Response from the drop down and click Add Questions.

  6. Click in the bubbles to select the correct answer for each question. For Constructed Response questions, enter the amount of points possible.

  7. If you hover over a question, you will see a link to Align the question. Click the link. • Select the State or Common Core from the drop down menu. • Select the Standards Document. • Select the Grade Level. • Use the + symbols to open the tiers to get down to the benchmark level. • Click to select the benchmark aligned to the question and click Set Alignment. • Note: the program will remember what you last selected as an alignment. Use this to align multiple questions on the test to the same benchmark.

  8. School coaches and administrators have the option to “Automatically send student responses to Pearson Inform.” • Choose whether to keep this test private, Share with my subscription (teachers at your school) or Share with my district. • Click the button to Create Test.
