  3. Fitness Cert III & IV To pump up low completion rates Fitness have implemented the following: • restructured large exams into smaller quizzes throughout the course. • students can choosehow they present evidence of knowledge and skills

  4. Students with an NC result • Students sent formal letters to resit exams or to resubmit assessments in the first week of classes • contact their unit teacher for detailed feedback • joint venture with Access and General Education section(High risk of non-completion due to literacy and numeracy issues, lack of communication and employability skills) • high risk students case worker (Related duties hours)

  5. Completion Data – Fitness WSI Module completion rate: 77.7% in 2010 to 78.6% in 2011 (increase in 0.9%) • 2010 module completion rate was 76.40% • this was much lower than the State average for Cert III and Cert IV Fitness.
