EWB UBC is one of the largest chapters and was voted Chapter of the Year in 2006/2007 • Overseas Programs: • Placements in Ghana, Zambia • Working Partnership Program EWB UBC Chapter – Ex-Officio EUS Club • Local Projects: • High School Outreach • Curriculum Enhancement • Bridging The Gap Conference • Education Meetings • Events • Concerts • Bar Nights • Outreach/ Educational Events – 0.7% Pledge Photo, Massive Outreach Event, Water Carrying

Water for the World • Focus on water and sanitation • Food for Thought • Food and Agriculture “Development Dish” Education Meetings • Every two weeks, educational workshops take place on development issues • Everyone is welcome and can learn something, regardless of level of development knowledge Local Projects • High School Outreach • Interactive presentations on global issues for high school students

  6. Local Projects • Bridging The Gap Conference • Educational conference hosted annually by EWB UBC in spring • Opportunity to learn more about global citizenship, sustainability, and the end of poverty
