  2. “Food Insecurity” Definition Food insecurity exists whenever the availability of nutritionally adequate and safe foods or the ability to acquire acceptable foods in sufficient quantity in socially acceptable ways is limited or uncertain.

  5. Definition Social housing includes all types of housing where some sort of subsidy is provided. It includes public, non-profit, and cooperative housing, as well as rent supplements for people living in private market housing. Why focus on food security in social housing?
