  1. Essential Tips for choosing the best Wheel spacers for your car To improve the set of the own car, or more simply to give it a more aggressive appearance and sporty, often using the spacers, or additional rings positioned between the rim and the hub. Read the guide to know characteristics, types, and how to choose the spacers model for car tuning based on criteria of quality, price and accurate information for the consumer. Know the Features The wheel spacers are capable of increasing the roadway and make the car more stable, also correcting any roll problems, in addition, if you think you fit larger tires then this solution is a necessity that can give you the millimeters needed to accommodate the larger new roofing.

  2. The material they are made of the spacers is usually a light aluminum alloy and, on the market, there are different types: starting from the more "lean" that are mounted directly on the machine using the hub for their longer tightening bolts originals, coming to those decidedly more full-bodied, getting hooked directly to the car's hub, but equipped with specific threads can accommodate the original bolts that are used to subsequently mount the wheel. The choice of the spacer procedure is the same both on the rear axle than on the front. In the second case, one must also take into account the angle of the steering wheel, avoiding, to the steered wheels, touching the wheel with the tire. Assess the functionality The spacers allow you to increase the track when you use the car wider wheels. The bolts of the spacers are located in correspondence of the tire hub holes and are provided with pins which ensure the spacers to the wheels. The pins are the element that ensures the wheels to the vehicle. The bolts are mounted on the disk hub. In this configuration, wheels and spacers remain integral with each other, as if they were a single unit. When embedded in the wheel hub of the wheel lug positioned above each hub, and then tighten them with a wrench. This way you can drive safely without the risk of losing the spacers. If you drive frequently on bumpy roads, the spacers will allow you more safe and pleasant driving experience. Learn about the types All spacers create stress on the hubs and axles of a vehicle. Spacers in aluminum and urethane add extra balance to off-road and sports cars. On off-road the spacers are mounted on pins which are already present on the ATV or on the four-wheeled motorcycles. To fit some spacers, however, you need to remove the hubs pressure from the wheel axle. In this case, you will need very long bolts to fix all items (pins, wheels and spacers).

  3. Mounting process A spacer mounted to each tire. Work lying on the ground with the handbrake on. Be sure to loosen the tongues of the wheel you are working on before lifting the car off the ground with the jack. After loosening the wheel, place the jack under the car and lift the wheel from the ground slightly (no more than 2 cm). Completely remove the fins from the wheel using your fingers. Remove the wheel. Install the spacers on the wheel hubs with a torque wrench (use this tool will help you avoid the danger of losing the wheel while driving). Screw the wheel and tighten each lug properly. Mounted wheels above the spacers and secure them with bolts and keys. Ask another person to keep your foot on the brake pedal when tightened the bolts. Remember to check the spacers once a month, if the bolts are loose.
