What is the benefit of knowing God?

  • We were created in His image.

    • If we want to know ourselves we must first know Him.


Genesis 1 26 27

Genesis 1:26-27

26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

  • Live it and gain experience.

    • Put into practice the very attributes of God in your life.

    • Matthew 13:12

  • When given the opportunity what actions, attitudes and lifestyles do I exemplify that indicate I am made in His image?

    • Do I live humbly, graciously and contently?

    • Do I seek holiness, peace, justice and wisdom?

    • Do I display mercy, love, gentleness, patience, kindnessand compassion.
