  6. APD Processing • 10-day letter • 45 days for operator response • 30 days after complete • Approve, Defer, Deny • Defer • 2 years for operator response • 10 days for final action

  7. APD Processing 10-day notification • Notify the operator if the APD is complete • APD not complete if no onsite inspection • Additional deficiencies may be noted at onsite inspection • Operator has 45 days to respond

  8. APD Processing 30 Day – Action or Notification • Action – Approve or Deny • Notification (Defer) • Operator assistance • BLM/FS regulatory compliance

  9. APD Processing • Operator Assistance • Data gathering • Prepare analyses • 2 years to complete action

  10. APD Processing Final Action • Deny if operator does not respond • Final action 10 days after operator response Valid Period • 2 years • 2 year extension possible
