Over the last three years 4 All has introduced 11750 children, young people and adults to positive sports activities and strong partnerships. 3. What is Fencing 4all? Fencing 4all is a fully inclusive mixed ability fencing programme. This is a positive activity that combines the sport of with fencing with the Historical martial art to create an engaging fun 4all fencing programme that flips the sport of fencing on its head. Fencing 4all re invents fencing and is great for children, young people and adults no matter ability, disability or background. The programme has been designed to improve the mental health and well-being of participants in a fun way. Traditionally fencing has been seen as an elite sport over the last 3 years fencing 4all has been taught to over 10,000 children, young people and adults in schools and areas where you wouldn’t expect to see it. All have been given the opportunity from schools in ex mining communities, Special educational needs and behaviour schools, Youth offending groups as well as mental health organisations and disability groups. The result has also been the same a quality positive experience. PartnerProgramme

4. Why fencing 4all? Fencing 4all has been developed by fully qualified fencing instructors who are parents of 2 boys with autism and are experts in working with young people and adults with mental health concerns and disabilities. We don’t focus on the fancy language or creating Olympic athletes. Fencing for 4all focuses on the impact this positive activity has on improving the mental health and self-confidence of the person taking part. Our school programmes use exciting games to teach pupils the basic of fencing not boring line drills. All sessions have measurable learning outcomes. Fencing 4 all adapts to the needs of the person taking part. We don’t expect them to adapt to the sport. As well as traditional Chair fencing. We pride ourselves on being innovative we have develop new methods of fencing for people with disabilities including VI fencing and Frame fencing. Just because you have a disability you should have the right to choose how you fence. PartnerProgramme

5. Instructor Training? Do you want to become a fencing 4all Partner and Instructor ? All Instructors receive full training in the fencing 4all And historical fencing programmes. Resources and lesson plans to run sessions for schools, community groups and adults.
