  2. TOSCI Function Inhibits SPEAR beam injection when stored current is less than predetermined value (e.g. 50mA). Operation Compares current measurements (DCCT & BPMCURMON) to trip level using analog circuit. Relay de-energizes and contacts open, on fault.   13. Test Modes • Tested every 2 weeks during recovery from machine physics, by requiring fills from below 50mA. Monitor using the Controls System. • Tested during re-certification every 12 mos. using voltage waveforms.
