  2. EXPRESIONISMO 1905 - 1960 • Intensa expresión del sentimiento humano, la pobreza, la violencia y la pasión • Sostienen que un arte equilibrado y armonioso no es honesto • Encuentra terreno fértil en Alemania. • El contenido por sobre la forma. Modelar la realidad para expresar un sentimiento.

  3. Antecedentes: esculturas medievales de monstruos, Miguel Ángel, el Greco, Goya, entre muchos otros. El Antecedente directo es Van Gogh. • Oposición de naturaleza irracional al cubismo. • Se expresa a través de forma y color, llegando a la Abstracción de la mano de Vassily Kandinsky. • Tiene repercusión en la música y la literatura.
