  1. What is Truth? What does truth mean to you?

  2. What is true for you? Write down a list of five ‘facts’ about yourself: • One ‘fact’ should be absolutely true. • One ‘fact’ should be true. • One ‘fact’ should be mostly true • One ‘fact’ should have a little bit of truth in it. • One ‘fact’ should be a complete lie. • Write these five ‘facts’ down on a scrap of paper, but make sure they are in random order.

  3. So what was the truth? In mixed groups have people try to guess the order of your truths. Each group member should mark your truths from one to five. One= The most true statement Five = A big lie Reveal the correct order to the group.

  4. So what did we learn about truth? Discuss the following questions with your group: • Which ‘truth’ surprised you the most in the group? • Which ‘lie’ was hardest to detect? • What lessons can we learn about truth from this activity?
