You see the patient most often, what does that mean?? What type of information from the patient would you find important enough to tell the staff nurse?

  7. Characteristics of an Effective Nursing Assistant The ability to get along with others in interpersonal relationships, patient relationships, staff relationships, and family relationships. What are some ways in each of these relationships to be successful and develop trust between you as the aide and the other person or persons involved?

  8. WHAT IS PROFESSIONAL APPEARANCE AND BEHAVIORS ? Describe proper professional appearance. Describe proper personal hygiene. Give examples of how you would initially interact with your patient/resident. What body language is scene as inviting? What type of attitude and facial expressions are considered inviting to strangers?
