  1. Volkswagen Confirms that T-Cross Will Surely Hit the Indian Roads Andreas Krüger- Head of the Volkswagen (VW) small cars product line has affirmed that the T-Cross, a compact SUV, which is yet to hit the roads will even be released in India as soon as possible. VW had in the past also opined that the German car manufacturer is viewing the forthcoming compact SUV as a competitor for the rest of the SUVs in the nation. According to the company, this T-Cross is the primary SUV to be designed on the MQB-A0-IN platform for India. The company also added that it will bring up the same MQB-A0-IN platform-based SUV for its sibling—Skoda to the Indian roads. Krüger further mentioned, "We're going worldwide with this (T-Cross), starting in Europe, then South America, both Chinese joint ventures and finally India." According to market reports, T-Cross would make its debut in India about late-2020 and this would also be the period when Skoda will unveil its first SUV especially designed for the Indian roads. However, it is expected that these 2 SUVs will appear in the Indian Auto Expo-2020 in their individual pre-production model shape. The German premium carmaker has of late unveiled the official rough sketch of the SUV specific for Europe and then released a teaser film of a slightly masked T- Cross. Going by the teaser, this Euro-specific SUV would be about the identical size (4107mm) of 6th-gen Polo, the MQB A0 variant. T-Cross India-spec on the other edge is expected to be a bit larger than its counterpart Europe specialized variant. It’s coz it is expected to be based on Virtus, which is the Polo sedan. Both the Volkswagen T-Cross and Skoda SUV are anticipated to be predominantly made in India. In this lieu, we can anticipate it to have a competitive price commencing from about Rs 10 lakh. This latest compact SUV in India will combat with the Renault Captur, Hyundai Creta in addition to the forthcoming SUVs like the Nissan Kicks, 2nd-Gen Renault Duster, concept-based SUV-the Kia SP and Jeep Renegade. We PPS Motors, being the authorized Volkswagen dealer in Telangana, AP & Karnataka guess that T-Cross will have a heavier market than the past VW cars as it’s the first of its kind. We very recently celebrated 10-year anniversary to celebrate our decade association with VW. We also have Volkswagen service centers in Khajaguda, Jeedimetla and Kukatpally
