  1. HOD- MBA Department of Management Studies- MBA is appending another quill on its cap by providing a platform to all in connect and concern for giving words to their proceedings and performances in and out of the Department by release of its second issue of e-news letter “The MBA Reporter”. Also it will provide an opportunity to promulgate and accolade the achievements in scholastic and extensive horizons associated with life of MBA students in PIET terrain. I am grateful to the visionaries of PIET- The Management, Director (Prof.) Dr. K. K. Paliwal and Administrator Sh. S. K. Khanna for their constant prop up and encouragement for such initiatives. I also congratulate the team of MBA Faculties and students for their remarkable contributions in giving shape to the dreams that Department lives up with and extend heartiest good wishes to the editorial board for success. We endeavor to make invariable efforts to be in sync with vision and mission of Department of Management Studies – MBA. “Work hard in silence, Let success make the noise”

The individual is required, under pain of being stunted and enfeebled in his own development if he disobeys, to carry others along with him in his march towards perfection.” With a pristine purpose of presenting all that transpired in a marked period of time, we are coming forth with our second Monthly newsletter “The MBA Reporter” to help our readers to embark upon the bandwagon of informative, educative and creative impulses.

  5. 2nd Release Department of Management studies is delighted to release its second issue of monthly newsletter- The MBA Reporter. It was indeed a grandeur moment to experience the embark of our newsletter, highlighting affairs like Live Telecast of Union Budget 2016, Brahma Kumaris Session, various Guest Lectures and Industrial Visits. The month of March captured an array of celebrations with the same zeal and enthusiasm.

  11. “Logo is a silent ambassador of your brand.” Validating Students knowledge from time to time is the culture we follow at PIET. In view of above, a Logo Quiz was organized in Department of Management Studies. It was a good platform for students to make a check on what they have learned in their classrooms.   12. A session on Analysis of Budget 2016 was organizedin Department of Management studies in which students under the guidance of their respective mentors ingroups made Presentations and discussed on various sectors of Indian Economy. Bout on Analysis of Budget (March 14, 2k16)

  13. World Consumer Rights Day was celebrated in which students from Department of Management Studies participated, highlighting various rights and duties we hold as a responsible consumer. World Consumer Rights Day- 15th March 2k16

  14. An industrial visit to Yakult Danone India Private Limited was arranged for MBA 1St year students. The larger aim of the visit was to make the students upgrade their concepts on the value-chain as followed by firms in the Industry. Value chain refers to processes and activities right from the sourcing of raw materials to the point where the final product reaches the end customers. Visit to Yakult- Danone India (March 18, 2k16)

  15. Today the buzzword is Entrepreneurship. So its important to understand the challenges faced by an Entrepreneur in India from idea germination stage to conversion of idea into business stage. MBA students got a window of opportunity to IOCL Refinery plant for attending National vendor development cum exhibition expo-2016 .The program was organized by MSME, Karnal.   16. “Staying Happy is important but sharing Happiness is giving meaning to Happiness” MBA Department celebrated World Happiness Day by distributing eatables, toys and daily utilities to some deprived children like toothpaste and toothbrushes. Medicines were also distributed to orphans at Mother Teresa Trust, Panipat. World Happiness Day, (March 18, 2k16)

  17. Department of Management Studies organized a workshop on Financial Metrics and Business Decision Making which laid emphasis on the four core principles of value creation especially from the point of view of investing in the stock markets. Mr. Rishi Raj astutely crafted interactive game in which students were divided into groups of 7 and given a simulation of how to build a stock portfolio which can generate maximum returns.   18. “A Picture is Worth a thousand Words, But The memories are Priceless.” A three days tour was organized to Manali for MBA Second year students. It was a thrilling experience for them and an opportunity to create beautiful memories to congregate and cherish for lifetime. “Manali diaries 2k16”

  19. “Poetry is a language at its most distilled and most powerful” Words become more beautiful when expressed in rhymes. Department of Management Studies celebrated World Poetry Day in which Javid from MBA Ist year bagged first position and won many hearts through his self composed Poem.   20. “We cannot command nature except by obeying her” Water is lifeblood for Human Beings. Department of Management Studies celebrated World Water Day 2016 with the theme “Water and Jobs”. This theme shows the correlation between water and jobs created either directly or indirectly by water sources on the globe. World Water Day- March 22, 2k16

  21. “let the colors of Holi spread the message of Peace and Happiness” Colors add a spark in our lives. This message was followed and MBAs celebrated Holi with beautiful and colorful petals of flowers with wishes in their hearts to stay united. Happy Holi

  22. “By this we know that he laid down his life for us.” Good Friday may we never forget the true meaning of Easter. ‘For when he was on the cross I was on his mind.’ Department of Management studies celebrated Good Friday to Thank Jesus for a Beautiful life and for blessing us all that we have.   23. One day seminar on HRM “IF YOU WANT TO BUILD THE BUSINESS, BUILD THE PEOPLE” Department of Management studies organized a one Day seminar on Human Resource Management in which students from MBA 1st year participated. A group with members Shivika, Dheeraj, Diksha, Nimish, ParulAmarjeet and Neha stood first .The Best Speaker and Best Presentator through out the session were DikshaKathpaland SahilChhabra. PujyaSadhuMunivatsal Das Ji “BEFORE BECOMING A SIKH, A MUSLIM, A HINDU OR A CHRISTIAN, LETS BECOME A HUMAN FIRST.” Department of Management Studies got an opportunity to welcome PujyaSadhuMunivatsal Das Ji. We felt blessed to have Messenger of God and a Pure Soul amongst us from Ahshardham, Delhi, who enlightened the Faculty of PIET on spirituality. March 30, 2k16
