  10. Learner Management Team A unique project that lets students gain realistic and worthwhile volunteering hours. Students had to apply and write a CV Already the LMT have volunteered for: the Staffs FA, the ECFA, Sport Across Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent (SASSOT) and St. Georges Park (the home of English football)

  11. LMT plans for 14/15 To keep on gaining employability skills and volunteering at local events. To become activators and run in house sporting projects. To be creative and design new ways of getting more students active at Stafford College.

  12. Links to our CSP • We work closely with SASSOT to help get more people active across the County. • We are working together to create a stronger voluntary workforce. • We implement Sportivate plans. • We are a new facility provider for SASSOT

  13. We are planning to become a Street Games provider. Local council cuts have affected Youth Services greatly in the area. We could help provide a service to keep more young people active.

  14. Employability Links Through the use of the LMT and work experience modules we have created strong links with local employers in the fitness and coaching industry. All new sport students will acquire NGB coaching badges in their chosen sports. Industry experts, past students and NGB officers to discuss employability routes with students.

  15. Our Vision • To become the “Sporting Hub” for Stafford. • Providing our students, staff and the local community the chance to enjoy affordable exercise across a range of sports. • To get “All” students active and exercising. • To have competitive BCS teams that students enjoy being a part of. • To continue creating strong employability links.
