Development history1

Development History

  • Second Generation (2nd Generation)

    • 1955 to 1973, using semiconductor technology (transistors).

    • A computer system was created with these transistors smaller, faster and more efficiently than a computer system is made with vacuum tubes.

  • Third generation (3rd Generation)

    • 1974 to 1979, using IC (Integrated Circuit), a semiconductor circuit is established by transplanting the transistors on a substrate (silicon).

    • The first IC only 6 transistors (now with the Intel Pro to 5.5 million transistors).

    • MITS company in 1975 (USA) introduced the Altair personal computer in the world's first
