A: Your Madison Area Service Clubs Council And our Mission is . . . •  To provide an open forum for Greater Madison Area service club members to interact •  To recognize our Olympian of the Year and Ruth Gordon Award Winner  To bring together our members to celebrate service club members who give their time, talent and treasures for the betterment of the community. 61st Annual Olympics - Monday (eve.), July 25 & Tuesday, July 26

Olympics Committee Purpose • Coordinates Service Clubs Olympics • Determines venue and dates • Selects events • Establishes fees • Solicits event managers • Provides scoring • Oversees banquet planning • Administers Olympian of the Year program and recognition • Presents events awards • Coordinates Fall Luncheon • Determines venue and date • Sells tickets • Selects Keynote Speaker • Administers Ruth Gordon Award program and recognition 61st Annual Olympics - Monday (eve.), July 25 & Tuesday, July 26

  5. How to Participate • Talk to your members about participating as a club. • Download Olympics registration forms from our website: www.madisonserviceclubs.org. They can be filled out electronically and emailed. • Use the Club Registration Form to register and pay entrance fee. No increase in entry fees. 4. Each member completes a Member Sign Up Form; Club rep consolidates members’ forms into Club Events Registration Form. 5. Complete Golf Registration and Dinner Ticket Forms. • Club Registration and Olympian • Forms due June 6; • remainder of forms and fees due July 13. 61st Annual Olympics - Monday (eve.), July 25 & Tuesday, July 26

  10. The Fellowship Come early and enjoy coffee while watching the morning Run/Walk event. Come for lunch and take in the bean bag toss or darts. Socialize with your fellow service club members and meet new friends. Then… Come for the Networking – Beverages, games & social -- 3:30 to 5:30 PM Come for the dinner and recognize the Olympian of the Year and event winners. 61st Annual Olympics - Monday (eve.), July 25 & Tuesday, July 26

  11. The Recognition We also recognize the Olympian of the Year nominated by clubs. The Award is presented to a person in the Greater Madison area who has given freely of his/her time to further athletics in the Greater Madison area. Nominee Criteria for the Award includes: • Lives in the Greater-Madison area. • Contributions to youth athletic community • Cumulative and multi-faceted activities the nominee has been associated with and roles undertaken over past years • Accomplishments achieved • Length and quality of time contributed • Impact of the Nominee’s activities on youth Awards presentation - 6:30 PM 61st Annual Olympics - Monday (eve.), July 25 & Tuesday, July 26

Location: Keva Sports Center We offer many events including: bike and running events, volleyball, basketball, ping pong, board and card games, outdoor sports, dinner, Olympian of the Year and event awards. Parking for over 500 cars in and around KEVA Events at other locations include:  Golf at Bridge’s;  Swimming at Middleton/Cross Plains High School;  Bowling at Schwoegler’s; and  Billiards and Poker at Brass Ring 61st Annual Olympics - Monday (eve.), July 25 & Tuesday, July 26
