  4. Major Map Collections • USGS topographic maps • Sanborn Fire Insurance maps • Nautical and aeronautical navigation charts • Various map series; distinct coverage of Canadian and Mexican topographic series, as well as Japanese geological series

  5. USGS Topographic Maps • 7.5 minute maps for most of the United States • Various scales for Ohio and neighboring states • Arranged alphabetically by state and then quadrangle

  6. Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps • Collection donated by the Library of Congress • 1867 – 1970 • Coverage for most of Ohio
