Genetic Neurological therapy Rett syndrome Vestibular therapy clinic conducts vestibular therapy to help and treat people dealing with problems caused by vestibular disorders, primarily vertigo and dizziness, gaze instability, and/or imbalance and falls.   3. Dizziness is usually not a serious disease but a symptom of mechanical problem. It can be due to various reasons such as inner ear disorder a side effect of medications, neck dysfunction, or it can also be due to a more serious problem such as a brain or a heart problem. A person may feel dizziness when they are standing still, lying down or changing positions. Such symptoms can be constant or episodic or may even last just for few hours, minutes or seconds. These symptoms can be constant or episodic in nature, only lasting seconds, minutes or hours. If you have any symptom of vestibular problems, it is advised to see your physician right away. After assessing your condition, your physician may recommend treatment plan that includes vestibular therapy. Vestibular therapy is for those who are diagnosed with dizziness, imbalance, vertigo, Meniere’s syndrome, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), neck-related dizziness and migraines. Other candidates who can benefit from it are those who had a stroke or brain injury or who frequently fall.

  5. A physical therapist will first evaluate your symptoms and review your medical history. Such assessment will usually include all or following things: Balance and/or leg strength/flexibility • Gait • Visual stability and mobility • Neck mobility and neck and arm strength • Positional testing, including an inner ear exam • After assessment, a treatment plan is developed to improve the patient’s ability to function in activities of everyday living, reduce their risk for falling and improve their quality of life.
