Airport Information:

The Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport (CHO) services Charlottesville, VA with limited flights. It is about a half an hour from UVA.

The Richmond International Airport (RIC) in Richmond, VA has more flights. The drive to Charlottesville, VA from RIC is about one hour and 15 minutes.

The Washington, DC Dulles Airport(IAD) or Ronald Reagan Airport (DCA) also has more flights.

Other Points of interest:

Monticello (House of former president Thomas Jefferson) - 20 min drive

Rotunda - start of the University of Virginia by Thomas Jefferson - 5 min. walking

Luray Caverns - 1.5 hour drive

Skyline drive - Mountain drive for beautiful fall season - 30 min drive
