What are we doing this morning? • 9.30 Cluster groups – further discussion and prepare 10-minute presentation on the work taking place in each area. • 10.15 Cluster presentations to rest of group (4 x 10 minutes) • 11.00 Break • 11.15 Presentation: project and programme management and support • 11.45 Surgeries: an opportunity to ask individual questions of: • ·Sarah Davies – Programme Manager, Regional pilots • ·Lisa Gray – Programme Manager, MLEs for Lifelong Learning • ·Neil Jacobs – Programme Manager, Repositories • ·Jorj Kowzsun and Oscar Struijve – Consultants, Risk management and programme support • 12.30 Lunch in ground floor restaurant • 1.30 Plenary session • 3.00 Home time

Aims of programme meeting • To inform you about the range of work in the e-learning programme • To provide briefings and discussion on relevant technical and practice/ pedagogical issues • To show you some of the free tools available • To give you an overview of what the regional pilots are working on • To help identify links between projects • To discuss how links can be taken forward • Presentations and links to projects will be on programme meeting website

Task • Regroup around themes of yesterday: • Content and repositories (101) • Learner portals (114) • PDP and e-portfolio (101) • Learning and progression pathways (114) • Prepare 10-minute presentation from each group covering: • What your projects are doing in this area • What issues/questions you are addressing • The challenges you’ve identified • Any links between projects • Suggestions for building on links • Reconvene at 10.15

  5. Communication – who’s going to do what? • I’ll get all the project information up on the JISC website • You can use the jisc-del-pilots list to communicate with each other • I will identify issues and which projects are looking at these – from notes from today • Cut by learner type, technology, context, issues • Need to input to joint programme meeting - now

  6. Programme and project management • Project plans currently being finalised • First reports in from early starters • Information going up on web this week • Next reporting dates: end June, September, December, March • Final report plus one other will be verbose, others short

  7. Programme support • Project visits – do invite me back! • Contact by email or phone • Desktop videoconferencing • Communication between projects – inc. regionally • Areas for discussion at future meetings • Joint programmes meeting – 7-8 July, Cambridge • ELF developers conference – date tbc

  8. Supporting studies • Formative evaluation / lessons learnt – under preparation • Risk assessment study – to inform projects and programme • Reference model projects • Legal issues (MLEs LL) – seminar next Monday – free places avb
