  3. Advantages of CT in Non-medical use • No superimposition • Density measurements • High density resolution • 3D postprocessing • Generation of 3D models and casts • Non-destructive information • Radiation dose is not important

  4. Non-Medical use of CT- Technical aspects - • X-ray exposure and exposure time almost unlimited • Setup may be different from medical CT: • Stationary x-ray source and detector • Rotating object • Technically more simple • Combination with X-ray
