  2. http://cimt.jpl.nasa.gov • Data Sources • Every 12 hours, a nowcast (also known as analysis) and 48-hour forecast are made using the NRL mesoscale atmospheric model (i.e., COAMPS) • Every hour, wind measurements are collected from four ocean moorings (M0/1/2, NDBC #46042) over the ocean and seven stations along the coastline • Acknowledgements • Funding is provided by NOAA through the CIMT (Center for Integrated Marine Technologies, http://cimt.ucsc.edu/) • This web site was developed by a collaborative team with major contributions from the following people: • Yi Chao and Peggy Li, JPL • Leslie Rosenfeld and Todd Anderson, NPS • Rondi Robison, UCSC • Jim Doyle, NRL
