  3. Fast Facts (cont.) • The mp3 was created by the music lovers not a company but after it was created it was sent to a factory to be mass produced

  4. for each slide the oval is on the part I’m talking about The Mp3 Cycle, part I • Your computer can rip mp3 files from an audio CD or collect them from other mp3 players while it still leaves the songs on the systems you collected them from

  9. The Compression Algorithm • If there is a loud sound in one band, the compression algorithm can ignore all of the other bands

  10. About Compression • If there are two sounds playing at once the human ear can only hear the louder one so the mp3 files can take out the quiet sounds making the size of the file smaller
