  3. The Civil War and Results • 8th Grade • Social Studies/American History • 1. Students will be able to write and outline three different civil war battles • 2. Students will gather information about the civil war visiting web sites • 3. Students will record facts about chosen battles • 4. Students will identify whether the battle was a Union or Confederate • 5. Students will download picture from battle • 6. Students will provide in writing on significant quote from an eyewitness • 7. Students will read about events leading to battles

  5. Your Mission • The students will take a virtual tour of the battlefield. The students will look at a picture of the battlefield and read a brief description of what happened at that location on the field. During the tour, the student will be provided with information needed to complete the next three sections of the outline, "Generals", "5 Interesting Facts", and "Victory".
