California Citrus Export to Korea 2008-2009 • Record keeping • Accurate, complete, easy to find documents • Keep records on active lots (includes listing on grower lot list, spray records, NAVEK sample records in file for Korea) • Spray Records must be on file when lot harvested • Note on Pesticide Use Reports the lot numbers; (Fresno Tulare county orchards KOR #, for others regular lot numbers) • Lots removed should be lined out of the grower lot list (spray / sample records on positive lots can be removed from active file)

California Citrus Export to Korea 2008-2009 • Korea Guideline Binders • Available at Training Workshops • Follow guidelines for documentation • Sample Grower Lot List are to list only those growers in a packing facility exporting to Korea (do not list all your growers) • Provide any suggestions to improve the binders thru CCQC (Carleen Price)

Fri, Oct 10, 2008, 9:30 am – noon, UC Coop Ext Office, Bakersfield • 3. Thur, Oct 16, 2008, 9:30 am – noon, UCR Coop Ext Office, Moreno Valley • 4. Thur, Oct 23, 2008, 9:30 am – noon , Tulare Ag Auditorium, Tulare • Mandatory for all participants • Recommend – 2 packing house people, 2 field people minimum per facility • One trained person from the facility must be present when Korea NPQS inspectors visit packing facility or one trained orchard field person when visiting field operations
