  9. The appearance of a lady bug • Some lady bug look like beetles • Most lady bugs have spot • Some don’t even have spots • Lady bugs come in a variety of colors

  10. Life cycle of a lady bug • Lady bugs start out by being eggs • Then they are larva • As they grow they get bigger (they are going through the larval stage) • Then they become a pupa • After a long time they become an adult lady bug

  11. Problems lady bugs cause • While it is winter lady bugs sleep under your houses, and when it becomes spring they crawl through cracks and get into your house. • They increase rapidly • Ladybugs develop tiny soft-bodied insects which destroy the hardwood trees.

  12. Benefits of lady bugs • Bugs were eating plants and crops • People were praying for a miracle to happen • Then the lady bugs appeared and started to eat the plant-destroying pests or bugs • The lady bugs saved the peoples crops from being destroyed

  13. Is there a golden lady bug? • No • It is a beetle • The beetle changes color depending on the liquid layer • In the winter, the beetles are more of an orange, brownish color • if u try 2 keep one as a pet it will turn dark brown as it dries, and soon lose its golden color
