Ideas • We’re completely enclosing all electrical components within a Plexiglas case to prevent sand damage. • We’re trying to use basic sensors that (hopefully) won’t be fouled up by blowing sand. The theory is that simple is good. • We’re using tracks instead of wheels.Our thinking is that tracks will lessen the chance of burying ourselves in the sand.

  7. Needs • We need some help with circuitry, as none of us are electrically oriented -Randy is coming on the 22nd to help out • We need the beacon so we can figure out how it works and how incorporate it into the robot
