Target Group: MBA Students Media: Internet Posting Version: 10th August 2009 Forum Family Office is an investment company with a focus on publicly quoted small- and mid-cap equities in Western Europe. Our intellectual foundations are built on the value investing approach followed by Warren Buffett with significant additional concept development, mainly derived from our founder’s 13-year background at BCG. Thus we make few long-term investments in outstanding quality businesses with long-term competitive advantages, superior financial characteristics and a management focused on the long-term. Our due diligence resembles that of a private equity firm. Investment results have been outstanding with returns exceeding 30% p.a. in the last 5 years. To cover the Nordic region more closely we are looking for a Master of Science in Economics and Business (or an equivalent degree) to join us as INVESTMENT ANALYST BUY SIDE NORDIC REGION Your key tasks will be: •screening all publicly quoted companies for idea generation • in depth due diligence of promising candidates •monitoring of existing investments • building up our network with investors, brokers etc. in the Nordic region You will be trained on the job by working in a small international team. As we have virtually no hierarchy, you get to learn all aspects of our decision-making very early in your career. As the position includes significant external field research with customers, competitors and other industry participants you will be travelling to the Nordic region ca. 6 – 9x p.a. You should apply if you have demonstrated outstanding results in your studies and want to start your career in an international professional firm in the area of investment management. We give you the possibility to work in Munich while staying in contact withyour home region. You should be fluent in English as that is our office language.
