Economic Consequences: • Everyone, in particular women,is needed in the labour market. • Without day-care facilities for children that are good regarding quality as well as quantity, they can either have an alternative job or children • In addition, it has socially unacceptable consequences – either short-term or long-term. • So CARE + EDUCATION of children

Education is the most profitable investment We cannot afford not to invest there: Perry-Preschool-Study reveals the price/performance ratio of 1$: 7.1$ (at the age of 27) and 1$: 17.07$ (at the age of 40) (including 12.90$ for the general public and 4.17$ for the individual.) James Heckmann (Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences 2000): Early education has the highest rate of return.

(who is interested in the activity, what level of qualification, what is the design of the rooms, equipment…) • What scope and what flexibility of the offer can you buy? As for the parental contribution: • Who can afford it? • When is it worth to go to work with respect to the nursing costs? Is it desirable/allowed to admit any social differentiation regarding the price?
