This session will cover the latest advancements and operational aspects of accelerator systems, including beam instrumentation, controls, feedback, and more. Invited talks by John Byrd (ANL) and Pietro Musumeci (UCLA) will provide insights into the topic. The session will also include 5 primary talks, 12 contributed talks, and proposals from 22 speakers. The program aims to maintain a balance across different regions and genders, with 4 speakers from America, 1 from Europe, and no speakers from Asia.

  4. MC-6 comments • Lots of machine learning proposals (“ e.g. Machine learning for xxxx) • Is ID1393 (Duris, “Using Gaussian processes and Bayesian….) miscategorized? Maybe MC5-Beam Dynamics. • Possibly substitute Tianhuan Luo (female) as speaker for ID1357 in place of Stefano De Santis. She had a big role in this effort at the ALS.
