General NMISC issues: PSMR 2015 • Request for technical co-sponsorship of PET-MR/SPECT-MR (PSMR) 2015 meeting • The PSMR 2014 was technically co-sponsored by IEEE (~200 attendees, IEEE membership desk: 18 new members (9+9)) • Paper submissions to IEEE TNS-NMIS • NMISC voted in favor of technical co-sponsorship for PSMR 2015 • Members of NMISC in the organizing committee: Paul Marsden, George Loudos, DimitrisVisvikis 19 July 2014

NSS/Medical Imaging Conference • 2014, Seattle, WA: Tony Lavietes is General Chair; Georges El Fakhri is the MIC Program Chair • 646 submissions (118 orals, 461 posters) for the MIC part • Entire day of joint sessions: NSS/MIC, NSS/RTSD, NSS/RTSD/MIC • 3 short refresher courses (lunchtime) • Extensive short courses program • Program should be released soon • Paperless! 19 July 2014

  6. NSS/Medical Imaging Conference • A working group jointly appointed by RISC and NMISC to investigate how to handle the upcoming changes in terms of conference proceedings for the NSS/MIC. First draft report to be discussed in Seattle (Nov 2014) • Members: • DimitrisVisvikis, Paul Marsden, George Loudos, Dennis Schaart • Chiara Guazzoni, Lorenzo Fabris, Patrick Le Dû, Tony Lavietes 19 July 2014

  7. NSS/Medical Imaging Conference (status and plans) • 2015: VesnaSossiis General Chair; Adam Alessio will be the MIC Program Chair. • 2016, Strasbourg, France: Maxim Titov is General Chair (CC contract signed, most of the committee members appointed, DimitrisVisvikis proposed as the MIC Program Chair) • 2017, North America: Chattanooga, Atlanta, Ottawa (reports submitted from JOS, 1st round of votes already in, decision before the Seattle meeting). Program chair should be from NMIS • 2018: Proposals from Australia, Japan, UK 19 July 2014
